FEVRONIIA Embroidered Dress
FEVRONIIA Embroidered Dress
FEVRONIIA embroidered linen dress. Straight elongated silhouette with symmetrical slits and a sharp neckline. The ornament design and its method are inspired by the paper artworks known as vytynanky, created by the Hutsul artist and writer Paraska-Plytka Horytsvit. Figures of a woman, a rooster, and a horse are inspired by an appliquéd rushnyk from the Ivan Honchar Museum, a rushnyk from the private collection of the GUNIA Project, and a painted house from 1928 in the Kharkiv region, respectively.
