Kyiv, Ukraine 🇺🇦Founded in Ukraine, Gunia Project is inspired by traditional ethnic cultures and folk crafts to create artisanal pieces. Each collection is a unique combination of design thinking, deep ethnographic research and artistic approach towards craftsmanship.
In Ukrainian culture, girls from different villages were once distinguished by embroidered shirts. There were more than 100 variations of stitches so imagine the codes embedded in each embroidery. These discoveries inspired us so much that we wanted to share them.
